Wonderful Life - from a community theater actress whose been there

This community theater chica found the promise of such a wonderful holiday story translated to the stage too much to resist. I had the pleasure of being cast as Mary. My "Christmas Gifts" to the darling director was the ability to keep my cool while learning this music! Once learned, we were golden. However, of all of the dozens of shows that I have had the pleasure to perform in over the years, this really stands out as one of THE HARDEST to learn musically. Especially, the nightmarish "Good Night" and "Panic..." What saved us, was tape recordings of the music plunked out by the music director, that we played incessantly in our "off" time. It will all be worth it in the end!
