Gretchen Cryer

Synopsis

Identified primarily as feminist writers, composer Nancy Ford and lyricist librettist Gretchen Cryer make a personal expression with this musical. The central role, played by Miss Cryer, is a divorced 39 year old pop singer attempting a comeback.

The Story centers around her auditioning a new act for her manager in which she doesn't use any of the "showbiz" props, no make up, fancy gowns, or audience pandering. She instead becomes the outspoken, liberated woman who knows who she is and where she is going. This is chronicled through her songs.
