Quite possibly the worst musical I have ever had the misfortune to see. How this ever got produced, anywhere, by amateurs or professionals, is beyond me. The story, a kind of pastiche of the works of Alexander Dumas, is badly conceived and executed. There is no logic to much of it and the storytelling is woefully lacking in any sense of a dramatic narrative. Quite simply awful, amateurish, ill conceived, puerile and unfortunately so terrible that it will haunt your nights with nightmarish recollections of how bad musical theatre can actually be.

It is over long, running close to three hours in the production that I saw and could be easily be cut back to, say, three minutes if one were to excise the crap and leave only the good bits.

Musically, some of the melodies are interesting but the lyrics are laughable.

Oh what else can you possibly say about this utter rubbish except avoid at all costs. If you plan on staging it, do us all a favour and put on a production of No, No, Nanette instead; bad and all as that one is, it is immeasurably better than All 4 One.
