Tales Of Hoffman

It is the story of a young poet who relates his adventures to entertain drinking buddies at a tavern. In every tale it is the Woman - whether she is called Olympia, Giuletta, Antonia, or Stella, the love of his life - just out of reach. Hoffman is manipulated at every turn by a Mephisto-like character who goes by many names, but with one purpose - to destroy Hoffman's hopes of true love. In the end Hoffman is left with only his Muse, who urges him to seek fullfillment in poetry.
