An enterprising woman, Hazel Hunt, of Cedar Ridge, Arkansas who, upon her retirement as the town music teacher, receives a Western Electric 500 watt radio transmitter and begins broadcasting as radio station "WGAL". However, due to Hazel's habit of "channel wandering", her broadcasts are not always so local, as listeners as faraway as Montreal and Manhattan could testify. A Federal Radio Inspector from Herbert Hoover's Department of Commerce. However, Mr. Abbott soon falls prey to the blandishments of the Hazelnuts, and the Shangri-La that is Cedar Ridge.
Rage Of The Heart
Twelfth century Paris is celebrating Festival Day just before Lent begins. The festival has all the excitement of Mardi-Gras and the drama of the Feast of Fools. Townspeople live out their fantasies while students imitate and poke fun at their teachers and leaders. They choose a King of Fools who leads their celebration and entertains them with stories and song: CELEBRATE.
Rags
Rebecca, a naive Russian immigrant arriving at Ellis Island with her young son, and their struggle to make a life for themselves in the New World. She goes to work in a sweatshop while searching for her husband who has preceded them to America. When they are finally reunited she discovers that his assimilation is not entirely for the best. His desire to change their name and strip away their ethnic culture so as to fit in with his cronies distresses Rebecca, whose gradual enlightenment will lead her into union activities against the very men her husband so hopes to impress. Subplots concern an elderly immigrant, his daughter, and their respective romances, one of which ends tragically.
Ragtime
The musical is a tapestry of New York area life in the first decades of the 20th century. People from radically different walks of life — an African-American family, a Jewish immigrant family and a wealthy suburban WASP family — see their lives intersect in the aftermath of a crime, with unexpectedly emotional results. Really Rosie
Really Rosie follows a typical summer day in the life of several neighborhood friends. Like many children, they claim to be bored. Luckily, their friend (and self-proclaimed leader) Rosie does not believe in being bored and she decides to film the story of her life, casting them all in supporting roles. They must audition first (of course) and then musically tell the exciting, dramatic, funny (and slightly exaggerated) story of her life. In addition to Rosie and her friends Alligator, Kathy, Pierre and Johnny, there is her dopey brother Chicken Soup, their parents and the residents of their neighborhood. Most importantly, they call on the residents of their imaginations who help them stage their glorious musical auditions in hopes of being chosen by the Producer and taken Very Far Away.
Red Mill, The
The setting is a village in Holland, where two Americans (Montgomery and Stone), who itch to get back to New York, foster the love affair between the burgomaster's daughter Gretchen and the young ship's captain Doris Van Damm. When Gretchen's father, who wants her to marry the Governor of Zeeland, imprisons her in the mill. Gretchen is released by the Americans. Finally Doris becomes an acceptable son-in-law by receiving an inheritance, and the universally amorous governor weds the burgomaster's sister.
Reefer Madness! The Musical
The story of young Jimmy Harper, a clean-cut 1930's teenager who falls in with a crowd of depraved Reefer Fiends and quickly descends into a lurid world of violence, crime, orgiastic sex and Drug-Crazed Abandon. Despite the noble intervention of his loyal girlfriend Mary and Jesus Christ (who sings like Tom Jones), Jimmy is framed for murder, sent to the electric chair and learns that the sweet smell of Marijuana Smoke masks the Bitter Musk of Hell.
Rent
Rent deals with starving artists living in New York City's East Village. It focuses on the lives of Mark, a film-maker, who's girlfriend, Maureen, a drama queen performance-artist-turned-lesbian, leaves him for another woman, Joanne who is an attorney. Mark lives with his roommate Roger, a struggling musician who just wants to write "one great song" before he dies of AIDS. One day he meets Mimi, an S&M dancer also with AIDS, and who is addicted to heroin. They fall in love. Mark and Roger's ex-roommate Tom Collins, a philosopher, who has just returned from M.I.T meets and falls in love with Angel, a Latino street-drummer/drag queen.They also have AIDS. Mark and Roger are continuosly hounded by their ex-roommate Benny, who is now their extremely wealthy landlord begging them for the rent. It focuses on a year in their lives, and their struggles of paying the rent, eviction, death, drugs, and living one day at a time.

A musical about Queen Elizabeth I of England and her father, King Henry VIII. Her mother, Ann Boleyn, has already been beheaded and her father has invited her to spend Xmas at court with his new wife and his other children.
Right This Way
A couple named Jeff and Mimi are living together in Paris, and when his newspaper reassigns him to America, he insists that they marry to avoid problems at home. The marriage isn't successful, however, and Mimi goes back to Paris. Jeff follows, and they reconcile.
