Prettybelle
Prettybelle Sweet, a manic depressive alcoholic schizophrenic who'd put herself in a Southern asylum. That's because once she'd discovered that her late husband Leroy, the sheriff of a small Louisiana county, had terrorized blacks and mexicans, she decided to make up for it by donating money to their causes and by bedding members of these ethnic groups. When word got out, the bigoted whites destroyed her property; she then accused her husband's deputy of raping her, which led to her committing herself for her own safety.
Prince and the Pauper, The
This musical is based on Mark Twain's novel about a look-alike prince and a pauper who switch places, leading to a plot filled with action, confusion, singing, dancing, swordfighting, and romance.
Prince Of Egypt
Egypt, eons of years ago: Pharao Seti commands all male hebrew babies to be drowned. A desperate mother places her son in a basket and lets the Hebrew god guide it along its way on the river. The basket is found by the Queen, and Moses is brought up as a brother to the heir of the throne, Ramses. Years later, the brothers, who grew up happily and wealthy, are split by Moses' recognition of his true heritage and the suppressing system his brother is about to inherit, willing to carry it on. Fleeing from the city in despair, Moses finds himself being called by God. He is given the task of being the messenger in order to free the Hebrews and to lead them into a country where milk and honey flow.

Promises, Promises
Chuck Baxter lends his apartment to various executives of Consolidated Life for their extramarital dalliances. One of them is J.D. Sheldrake who's girlfriend Fran Kubelik, just happens to be the girl beloved by Chuck. Fran eventually reciprocates his feelings after he rescues her from a suicide attempt after J.D. Sheldrake decides to go back to his wife.
Pump Boys And Dinettes On Broadway
On Highway 57 somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, stands a gas station. Across the blacktop is a roadside eatery called the "Double Cupp Diner". The four guys at the station have been known to do some auto repairs, but only when aided by quantities of time and beer. The Cupp sisters celebrate their home cooking with the same zeal they bring to being neighborly with the boys. This is a musical tribute to life by the roadside.
Putting It Together
The setting is an upscale, Manhattan apartment where a long-time married couple are hosting a small party. This deft set up allows the use of classic songs from every score written by Broadway Musical Master, Stephen Sondheim. Technically a "revuesical," the evening examines the eccentricities, naughty behavior and hidden yearnings of some very wealthy, very witty urbanites. By turns fast, funny, bold and stirring, Putting It Together is an intimate, insightful, often hilarious and ultimately moving portrait of "comtemporary society."
