Pacific Overtures
In 1853, Japan was just Nippon, a simple farmer's island, rooted in tradition and "floating in the middle of the sea." Then the West arrived, seeking trade routes, and bringing with them the conveniences -- and evils -- of industrialized society. Within 135 years, Nippon had rapidly mutated into Japan, dominator of world economics. The Westernization of Japan is painfully related through a pair of doomed friends caught on either side of the struggle between serenity and "civilization."

Pal Joey
A cheap nightclub emcee Joey Evans,ditches his naive girlfriend Linda to romance a rich older woman, Vera Simpson. Vera set him up his own nightclub, and thus exposes herself to a cheap blackmail attempt by one of Joey's former colleagues, dancer Gladys Bumps, and her boyfriend Ludlow Lowell. This fails when Linda warns Vera what they are planning and Vera calls her friend the Police Commissioner; but she decides to kick Joey out anyway.

Passion
At a bleak and remote military outpost in 1863 Italy, Captain Giorgio Bachetti passes his separation from the voluptuous mistress Clara through a serious of romantic letters. Then he meets Fosca, the melancholy sister of his Colonel. Wracked with pain and broken by the injustices of life, she slowly falls in love with Giorgio, who doesn't share her emotions. Driven by pain, she methodically clouds his mind by showing him what true love really means, and Giorgio's world unravels as Fosca's expands.
Peggy-Ann
This show was about Peggy-Ann and the world that she dreamed up. Her conception of New York, faithfully carried out on the stage, was of a place where all traffic on Fifth Avenue knocked off while the policemen went to lunch, and where society ladies munched bananas in fancy dressmakers' shops. On a yacht bearing Peggy-Ann and her loved one out to sea, the crew was suddenly seized by a morality notable amoung sailors, and mutinied because the lovers weren't married. When Peggy-Ann tried to save the situation by getting married, she found herself at the ceremony in her underwear with her mother officiating, using a telephone book as a Bible.
Peter Pan (Disney)
Adaptation of J. M. Barrie's story about a boy who never grew up. The three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Never Never Land where an ongoing war with the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place.

The musical tells the story of the hideously deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, exercising a reign of terror over all its occupants. He falls fatally in love with the young soprano Christine, devoting himself to creating a new star for the Opera by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all the skills at his disposal.

Pippin
The Leading Player tells us the tongue-in-cheek story of Pippin, son of the 8th-Century King Charlemagne, who is on a quest to find his true calling in life. He goes through war, love, politics and other pursuits before settling down with a decent woman (Catherine) and her son. Growing restless with family life, he leaves and the Leading Player tries to seduce him into committing suicide. Pippin decides he loves the simple life with his new family: trapped, but happy.
