East Lynne

East Lynne
East Lynne

Looking for a full scale musical that sparkles with warmth charm and humor? If you enjoyed the flavor of TV's classic Upstairs, Downstairs," you'll really enjoy this 19th Century favorite, a classic of its time; the "My Fair Lady" or "Hello, Dolly!" of its day. This modernized adaptation of Mrs. Henry Wood's novel will introduce a whole new generation to this all time favorite. Simple staging and ease of production makes the play ideal for groups of any size. The "very formal" butler and domestic staff add lively humor with their clever dialogue and sprightly songs. The villainous Captain Levison tempts Lady Isabel into leaving Archibald, her husband, and their children. Years later, deserted by Levison, she returns to her family home, East Lynne, disguised as a governess. Archibald, now divorced and believing Lady Isabel to be dead, has remarried. In the final dramatic scenes, Levison is found guilty of an unsolved murder and the dying Lady Isabel is forgiven.

Ezekiel Saw The ... What?

Ezekiel Saw The ... What?
Ezekiel Saw The ... What?

This unique, contemporary musical offers an upbeat production in a modern, vaudeville format. Ezekiel stars as a rebellious prophet annoyed by his flock's avoidance of God's message. Rap and ragtime share the stage with a Las Vegas show routine, the psychiatrist's tango, a vaudeville soft shoe and a country western ballad. The variety of numbers invites creativity in designing the choreography to be as simple or as innovative as you wish. Ezekiel finally succeeds in releasing the Israelites from their symbolic chains. Supported by his wife, Ezekiel reaffirms his own faith as your audience is challenged to create a better world.
